Your greening program is in place and both your organizational culture and facility reflect an increased attentiveness to environmentally sound practices. But there’s much more you could do in the way of facilities changes and green programming — a green roof, light sensors throughout your building, environmental fairs, and community gardens. Now you’re looking for support to accomplish the many initiatives that you’ve identified. Building upon our last session on framing your story to fit your audience, this seminar will explore the following questions:
What are the trends in funding for environmental sustainability?
What is the connection between greening and traditional donor concerns such as health, poverty, and education?
What are funders looking for when they fund greening initiatives?
Where can you look for support for your agency greening projects?
What outcomes or measures of success are expected?
Learn on how to make your business more energy efficient, reduce your utility costs, help save the environment, and how you can take part in NYSERDA programs and initiatives.

Today’s retirees are more responsible for their own future retirement than ever before. At the same time, retirees face challenges such as how do I make my retirement income last 20-30 years, how do I keep up with inflation and how do I sleep at night? If that were not enough, you may also be facing questions whether or not you should convert your traditional individual retirement account (IRA) to a Roth IRA.
